Katheryn Bermann

I’m a neurodivergent woman (AuDHD) and military veteran. I have decades of lived experience navigating a world that isn’t built for how your brain works, including trying to access neuro-affirming healthcare and therapeutic services. I’ve been through a lot personally and have taught myself a significant amount about the effects of trauma on the body and mind. Professionally, I have lived many lives, with the majority of my experience being in social services, working with children like me who are neurodivergent. I spent a year as a warehouse manager during the height of the pandemic, and I was also a special education teacher in a private school. I would like to share my story to continue educating the public on neurodiversity and to be a resource for others like me.

Sarah Cameron

Sarah Cameron has been an avid writer at heart since early childhood and has recently rediscovered her voice. This resulted in writing a multitude of essays and memoirs she hopes to one day publish. These works intend to shine a light below the surface of the proverbial iceberg of everyday life. Such topics as surviving abuse and finding healing through truth, to living with invisible illnesses and the stigma attached to them. Sarah helps shift the perspective to raise awareness using relatable analogies and light humor while focusing on unspoken truth. Her hope is to amplify the voices of those who aren’t heard with her writing and public speaking.

Debby Carpenter Southwell

My name is Debby, and I’ve been a widow since 2019. I live in mid-Michigan with my cat, BeeAh. I enjoy writing, doing crafts, reading, and shopping, mostly online.

I’m passionate about raising awareness for disabilities, especially those that are invisible. I live with Fibromyalgia, Arachnoiditis, Osteoarthritis, Osteopenia, Chronic Hip Dysplasia, Scoliosis, Degenerative Disc Disease, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS)/Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), Type 2 Diabetes, Hypothyroidism, Chronic Migraines, Chronic Insomnia, Bipolar Disorder, Seasonal Affective Disorder, Social Anxiety, PTSD, and Complex Grief.

I am deeply committed to my faith, and I choose to live joyfully, not because my circumstances are always joyful, but because I am joy-filled!

I collect quotes… from famous people and not-so-famous people. I write them everywhere. It’s probably one of the biggest reasons I call myself a “Pinterest Queen”, I’ve got a lot of pins that are quotes.

Finally, as a former nurse, I’m becoming interested in health and nutrition once again, and how nutrition aids the body in healing itself.

Siobhan Cousins

Siobhan is a British/Maltese Swimmer and performer living with a multitude of chronic health conditions. Growing up, she was always in an activity or sport.

She’s always been a swimmer, and loved the sport so much she became a lifeguard and swim teacher.
She even did my PADI Mermaid course to become a certified Mermaid! Dance and gymnastics are a huge part of my life too. In 2024, she was diagnosed with Hyper Mobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome as well as its co-morbidities Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, Chronic Fatigue, and FND.

She has to take medicine before eating anything, pace herself, plan everything she does, and be a mama bear and wifey! She’s a huge believer that everything happens for a reason, that there’s a reason she found out about her illnesses at this point in her life, to help others on their journey through chronic illness.
